Your secrets will be said!!! Be careful

Here is my essay on how Mordecai and Esther showed integrity and more information on the background. I Below is my written essay about Esther and Mordecai I learned what integrity was and how to write an essay on people based on the bible. Integrity is important because it shows your loyalty and honesty towards others and also because it is a spiritual character. Integrity is important for me because I want to be a lawyer and because it will strengthen my relationships with others.

The Empire

I will be writing about Esther and Mordecai as I do my story. Integrity is when somebody is honest and has strong moral rules. Some of these characters are going through tough times deciding whether to take the right path or the wrong path. It also states the laws that have been put in place for people to obey. If these laws were disobeyed they would be impaled on top of spears.

Esther, who was a Jew, lived in the Persian capital of Susa. She was exiled from Susa and taken into the Persian Empire where Queen Vashti and King Xerxes were residing. Esther and six other women stayed in a place called the Harem which was a place to reserve women for them to meet the king. Esther was given 6 months of beauty treatments and oils and was also given the best quality food for her to be a perfect fit for the king and made Queen of the Empire. Once Esther was queen, Vashti was deposed and became a maid for the empire. Queen Vashti chose to be deposed and replaced by queen Esther because she didn't want to reveal herself in front of crowds. Esther and her cousin Mordecai tried to persuade King Xerxes to retract an order which was to kill all the jews of the Empire of Persia. Because Esther was Jewish she couldn't reveal her nationality or she would also be killed with the rest of the jews.

Mordecai, who was also a Jew, was the caregiver for Esther. Mordecai and looked after Esther while she was still young after his brother Abihail passed he took her in to be his own. Mordecai and Esther were cousins and treated each other respectfully. Mordecai was from the Judaism religion where his father and mother passed. When Esther was chosen to go into the empire and made queen, Mordecai went to find her and asked to go see her in her private office. Mordecai demanded Esther not to tell Xerxes her nationality because he didn't want her to go and be annihilated. So she kept it a secret and didn't tell anybody. Mordecai showed integrity by being truthful to others and not being two-faced.

In summary throughout the story, Esther shows integrity until the end when she doesn't reveal her nationality. She shows integrity by not showing disrespect, ignorance, and self-love. She was a diligent young lady who was chosen by King Xerxes to be his new queen if she didn't accept the ask she would be annihilated. Mordecai also showed integrity by being truthful and more.

The Head Hunter!!!

Last week my whole class and I did a piece of writing which is also classed as a moment in time. This writing had to be based on a little snippet of our holiday like for instance running from a cow. I have a few goals that I have to achieve in my writing status that should be writing underneath my title on the piece of writing.

Let's CODE!!!

Last week on the 23rd of October my class and I went to Waitangi to go and learn how to code on microchips. I learnt so many things such as: how to actually code, how to download my data on to a microchip, how to make a human circuit and also how to identify the 9 different parts on the microchip. I'd like to say a huge thanks to Whaea Kerry and Whaea Monika without their help I wouldn't know how to code at all.
