I am learning to use good connectives between paragraphs
To be successful I will:
-Separate my main parts (intro, main events, reflection) with phrases that show or hint at the passing of time.
- Use dialogue (it is a clever way to show passing of time
Spending The Holiday In Auckland
I think I was successful because I learnt how to use good connectives in my paragraphs, and how to separate them to show what the intro, events and reflection are.
It was an early Saturday morning at 10:00am and I was still stuck with my sister, brother, brother-in law, and my nephew, I felt sorry for myself, my nephew and my brother because this is what we three wake up to every Saturday morning.
“Wake up!!!!!!!!!” my sister yelled, knocking the pan with the wooden spoon. “Waking up at 10:00am in the morning was a dream come true” I sighed to myself. More awaits, I woke up with a whiff of waffles with Nutella buttered on it, plus drizzled maple syrup and a crushed up twirl for the topping. Ah this definitely a dream come true this time. Well, anyways, after breakfast we had to do the same casual things every child has to go through after eating breakfast, which is washing, drying and packing the dishes.
“Game on suckers” which is what I mean Fortnite game time, we love this game, it sort tests your survival skills in life. Be in store for a slippery, fun, slide ride in a hour, “In a hour!” I wined. (1 hour later)”Wooooooooo!! this is awesome” I was yelling as I went down the slippery ride. Splash!!! All of the water just hit my face with expression;Poof, it had so much pressure it
flipped me back onto my knees. “Into the swimming pool I go” I said with a lonely emotion on my face, home time I guess.
Well that ended well for me didn’t it, I have to tell you that was the best day of my life, especially when I went swimming. That went straight from breakfast to game time and now to this, wow this is awesome.
